Highlights : Iheanacho Scores twice to Secure Manchester City Win, Twitter Reacts
Super Eagles attacker,Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice as Manchester City hammered Stoke City 4-0 in the Premier League ahead of their Champions League semi-final clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
The Manuel Pellegrini coached side moved into a 2-0 half-time lead thanks to a 35th-minute Fernando header and a Sergio Aguero penalty, awarded after Stoke captain Ryan Shawcross had fouled Iheanacho in the box.
The away side came back stronger after the break as they threatened to reduce the deficit, but Iheanacho, 19, put the game beyond the reach of the visitors when he buried a cutback from Pablo Zabaleta, who was making his 300th City appearance, and then added further gloss to the scoreline with a fourth.
The result moves City third ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Sunderland on Sunday, while Stoke City are stuck on 9th following a poor run of form.
The double from Iheanacho brings his tally for the season to 11 goals, and Twitter has exploded following his latest exploits…
