Glo part ways with Wizkid, signs Timaya

StarBoy’s singer Wizkid took to his Twitter account to announce the end of his relationship with the company, and this comes a year after the singer left MTN for the Nigerian telecoms company.

The Ojuelegba singer said in his positive Twitter note “Officially no longer with GLO, it was nice working with the amazing people at the company, wish the company the best in the future. Love,” .

MTN only last year dumped Timaya, Sean Tizzle and others while Glo took on Wizkid in a multi million deal.

In his Instagram note, the Egberipapa 1 of Bayelsa explained that he expected a better offer from the company but the company refused to improve the contract, and so he made the business decision to not renew his contract.

Timaya has relanded a Glo deal and he can’t help but brag.

“They say am proud now I know why cause I glo with pride,” said the Dem Mama Records CEO, adding, “Glo ambassador. Great Deal…. Thank u lord.”
