Emir of Kano and Pope Francis exchange Pleasantries in Italy (Photo)

Lamido Muhammad Sanusi, Emir of Kano and Pope Francis were pictured having a handshake at the international & inter religious peace conference dubbed “Thirst for Peace. Religions and Cultures in Dialogue” in Assisi, Italy earlier on Tuesday 20 September 2016.

The occasion was the World Day of Prayer for Peace meeting which has concluded its 3-day event which saw the participation of over 450 religious leaders of different faiths who gathered to pray for peace and strengthen dialogue in the spirit of Assisi.
