Drake Joins Forbes Five: Hip Hop’s Wealthiest Artistes

Drake has dethroned 50 Cent from Forbes 5 wealthiest Hip-Hop artistes of 2016.

Drake is winning big-time and according to Forbes, he has dethroned Bankrupt 50 Cent from the list.

On Tuesday, the American business magazine released its list of the Forbes 5 wealthiest Hip-Hop artistes of 2016 and the Canadian rapper was the new addition on the list for the first time in a couple of years

The rapper, who was already rap royalty, is now among hip-hop’s five wealthiest members.

The list is still topped by Diddy, who apparently has a net worth of $750 million. Drake earns his spot thanks to a $60 million net worth. According to Forbes, this wealth was “accumulated through multi-platinum recordings, million-dollar-grossing tours and seven figure endorsements.”

50 Cent’s spot slipped through his fingers when he had to field multi-million dollar lawsuits and filed for bankruptcy. He’s evidently not having the best week.

Diddy sits atop the list with an astounding fortune of $750 million, seeing a slight increase from last year.
