Dr Nentawe Set To Pick Up APC Gubernatorial Nomination Form​

Contrary to the wild and unfounded rumors making the rounds on the social media that the resources of Government might have been used to purchase the Gubernatorial form for Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, a front runner in the Plateau State Gubernatorial race, the campaign organization of the Candidate #GenerationNext has debunked the assertion and cleared the air stating that their candidate has not yet bought the nomination form and when he does, the whole world will know.

Talking to pressmen during the Annual Ngas Cultural Festival, Pusdung, the Director of Media for #GenerationNext, Mr Sunday Bugamma said “the campaign organization has concluded plans to go to Abuja next week to pick up the nomination forms for their Candidate.” According to him “the money for the form was put together mostly by the millennials and youths who identify with the candidate and see him as representing their constituency.” He further said that “the #GenerationNext has been planning and strategizing since 2016 with a view to mobilizing support for Dr Nentawe knowing that gaining the support of the masses of Plateau State was more important than waiting to win the endorsement of the Government or any individual for that matter.”

According to Mr Bugamma, the support which Dr Nentawe has received across parties and across the State is sufficient to see him to the Government House especially now that the #GenerationNext philosophy has been propagated and has gone deep into the grassroots. And that in view of the wide acceptance, the #GenerationNext is capable of delivering the best candidate for Plateau State and does not require any moneybag to achieve their goals.

Mr Bugamma who frowned at the cheap blackmails being peddled on the social media about Dr Nentawe being sponsored by some money bags said it was quite obvious that Plateau has spoken and that their preferred choice is Dr Nentawe Yilwatda. He further admonished other candidates and their supporters to rather than result to blackmail join hands with “the people’s choice”to ensure that the best candidate for a united, secured and prosperous Plateau is delivered.

It will be recalled that Dr Nentawe has since the commencement of the race to the Little Rayfield Government House in Jos the Plateau State Capital, led in all public support audit and opinion polls. This is not surprising judging from the young people thronging in his support as well as the prayers of religious leaders and the elderly.
