Denzel Washington To Debut Small Screen Directing on Grey’s Anatomy

Are you a fan of the small screens? Denzel Washington will sit in the director’s chair for episode nine of the current season of Grey’s Anatomy.

E! News confirmed Denzel Washington, an Academy Award winner will direct the episode, which will begin filming later this month and air sometime during November.

The show was written by Grey Anatomy’s head writer Stacy McKee, and if you know anything about Shonda Rhimes, we can be sure they’ll be a unforeseeable twist, leaving us with our jaws and edges on the floor.

Washington’s Grey’s Anatomy directorial gig  is the first time he’s directed for the small screen. The seasoned Hollywood A-lister has directed The Great Debaters as well as 2002’s Antoine Fisher.
