Winifred is an Afro-pop/urban-contemporary singer. She was born and brought up in Benin City. She grew up singing in the choir and started writing her first songs as early as age 8. She graduated from the university of Benin and studied International Studies and Diplomacy. She is also a dancer, creative writer and blogger.
Dear John is a reply to “wait for me” by Mavin’s newly signed artiste, Johnny Drille. Dear John was produced by the ace producer, MacRoc. It is her second studio single after her cover for Iyanyan’s “Applaudise” released in 2016.
