Davido and Yemi Alade Face Competition from East and South Africa for MTV EMA 2015 Best African Act

Both Davido and Yemi Alade had their best years leading the awards chart and they have to battle out each other as thhey have been nominated for the “Best African Act” category at the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards taking place at Mediolanum Forum in Milan, Italy on October 25th. The third time the award will be taking place in Italy. Davido came close last year as he was nominated but he lost out to Sauti Sol.
Davido and Yemi Alade  face heavy competition from South African rappers AKA and Cassper Nyovest. Tanzanian music heavyweight Diamond Platnumz was also nominated representing East Africa.
