David Mark Floods Otukpo with Campaign Rice, Set to Construct 4 Roads in 25 Days (Photos)

david mark's electionFormer Senate President David Mark following the nullification his 5th term election by the Court of Appeal, the campaign team of the retired General has flooded the city of Otukpo with iodized salt, rice and processed tomatoes paste.

The former Legislator has also commenced work on four different roads in Otukpo town.

According to DAILY POST, the roads billed for reconstruction are Otukpa street, Owukpa street and two others dominated by Idoma enone (West).

Senator David Mark has faced criticisms for refusing to attract development to the area even though he served as Senate President for 2 tenures.

It is believed he neglected the area because it is populated by most of his political rivals.

The road construction began today, December 1 and are expected to reach completion before Christmas. The project is under the supervision of a certain Hon. Owoicho Abel.

“As we speak, they have blocked Otukpa, Owukpa roads. The work is expected to start today, December 1 and reach completion before Christmas. We wonder where they have been,” the source said.
