Daddy Freeze moves to make peace with Basketmouth, See fans reply
Daddy Freeze is out making peace as he is ready to make peace with ace comedian, Basketmouth.
Yesterday, the Coolfm presenter took to his Instagram to announce that he would spend the entire week, apologising to everyone he had offended using this platform, and this comes just after he exchanged words with Noble Igwe for mentioning his wife, Chioma, on social media.
“I want to start this week by apologising to everyone I have dissed even though they started it first,” the presenter said yesterday, and then began with posting series of photos and captions, apologising to folks including Festus Keyamo, Ayo Fayose, and even his Instagram followers whom he put on blast on his page.
But to Basketmouth, Freeze had longer, deeper words to say. “Dear brother Bright, I miss how things used to be,” he stated.
The duo’s feud dates back to years ago, but it reached fevered pitch last December at Olamide’s Lagos concrt, where Basketmouth stood before thousands of fans to call out the media personality.
“There’s this former Cool FM presenter here, Freeze. I see am for redcarpet, where him dey?” Basketmouth said, and the crowd pointed out Daddy Freeze. “Make una nor dey deceived by this guy’s fair skin o. Nor be oyinbo o, na eczema cause am o.”
And that’s not all.
“Freeze my guy, your wife nor beat you today?” Basketmouth taunted him, and the audience laughed.
But Freeze did not. He returned to his favourite platform to drag Basketmouth, and what followed was a complete mess.
Now, Daddy Freeze is seeking to make peace and has reached out to the comedian; this has surprised his fans. See his note and what fans think:
