Cristiano Ronaldo to join Angelina Jolie on Turkish Series

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is billed to star in a Turkish television series called Hayat Koprusu, alongside Hollywood heavyweight Angelina Jolie after his previous terrible stint being an actor.

Hayat Köprüsü (Bridge of Life), a seris will be shown in Turkey, the Middle East and parts of Latin America.

Filming has already commenced in the south-eastern city of Gaziantep near the Syrian border, and will centre around a Syrian family fleeing the civil war as refugees, Goal writes.

Eyup Dirlik the director, announced that his crew was in contact with some international relief agencies, adding that Ronaldo and Angelina Jolie were among the big celebrities who wanted to identify with the project.

“We will begin filming in the first week of April, the series is about the plight of a refugee family and what they go through,” Dirlik told Turkish Football.

“There will be appearances from actors and actresses from all over the world including Cristiano Ronaldo, Angelina Jolie and Nancy Ajram.”
