Chris Brown has been banned from Australia and the New Zealand

Even though the R&B singer had toured Australia twice in the past, Chris Brown has been banned from Australia and the New Zealand because of his 2009 assault case with his then girlfriend pop-singer Rihanna.

According to BBC News, Chris Brown will have 28 days to appeal the denial, offering him an opportunity to explain why he should be granted access in Australia.

Chris Breezy was originally scheduled to perform in Australia in December before his visa was denied. The decision is announced just a day before his tickets is scheduled to be sold to the general public.

Breezy is the second artist to be banned from Australia in recent news, Odd Future leader Tyler, the Creator was first denied entry earlier this month.
