Cherubim & Seraphim Honours Don Jazzy (Plus Pictures of Young Don Jazzy)

Mavin Records Boss Don Jazzy got an another award over the weekend although this time around it was a honorary award rather than an award to celebrate his art.

The Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim & Seraphim church worldwide during the weekend gave the Mavin Records chief an award to certify him as a worthy son of the church. The recognition took place at the Cherubim & Seraphim Headquarters in Tejuosho, Lagos.

In reaction to Cherubim & Serahim honouring Don Jazzy, Don Jazzy’s dad took to his Facebook page to share some never seen photos of the ace producer from his childhood. Don Jazzy has also confirmed he is still a regular worshiper of the church.

The Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim & Seraphim is the first African initiated church established in 1925 by Moses Orimolade Tunolase. The church was born out of the Anglican church community among the Yoruba people in Western Nigeria.
