Can I Kick It – J. Cole (Quest Remix)

Tomorrow, Nov. 13 will mark the 25th anniversary of A Tribe Called Quest’s 1990 LP, People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. And to commemorate the anniversary, the group will release a reissue of the album.

North Carolina MC, J. Cole who is also a damn good producer, has remixed the legendary group’s hit Can I Kick It?

The track will appear on the forthcoming 25th anniversary version of A Tribe Called Quest’s debut album, People’s Instinctive Travels And The Paths of Rhythm, which is out Nov. 13.

J. Cole’s version of Can I Kick It? is a gloomier ride but still possesses plenty of bop. Listen below.
