Basketmouth and his family Robbed in Lekki Home

Comedian Basketmouth and his family were preyed by armed robbers in the highbrow Lekki area of Lagos State.

His close friend Bovi stated that the comedian and his family were ambushed by robbers who stormed their home in the early hours of today and carted away their valuables.

“Basketmouth was robbed this morning in his home in lekki phase 1 between the hours of 2am and 4am, 7th of September 2016,” Bovi writes, adding that “He and his family were held at gun point while the sad episode lasted.”

This sad news comes just days after Basketmouth’s wife Elsie Okpocha took to her Instagram to hint that they have a new home in a highbrow area of Lagos.

According to Bovi no one was hurt. “Valuables were taken including the cctv device. A report has been made at the police station. He can’t be reached at the moment but will be back on as soon as possible.”
