Azealia Banks apologises to Zayn Malik over Racist Slurs
Rapper, Azealia Banks has finally apologised for all the derogatory and racist comments she made against singer, Zayn Malik.
Azealia took to her Instagram to publish a long open letter titled ‘Letter to Zayn’.
“I chose to share this letter on social media as I offended not only Zayn but may other people,” she captioned the letter, as she added “I have learnt to admit my wrongs and how to take accountability for my actions. I’m sorry.”
The drama between the pair kicked off ealier in the year (May of this year), after the rapper went off on how immigrants stimulate America’s economy while white people live off the hard work of others.
Zayn Malik had gotten embroiled in the drama and it escalated in seconds with Azealia Banks firing racist slurs at the former One Direction singer. Not long after, she was dropped from a major UK festival and her Twitter account was also shut down.
Azealia Banks’ career has lately taken a nosedive and only days ago, she got into yet another fight with actor Russell Crowe so no wonder she is finally sorry.
