Appeal Court Nullifies David Mark’s Election

david markThe Appeal Court in Makurdi has nullified Senator David Mark’s election. David Mark who was Nigeria’s former Senate President has seen his election nullified while the court ordered fresh elections in 90 days.

The Makurdi division of the Court of Appeal on Saturday, ordered a re-run of the poll within 90 days.

Mr Donald Onjeh,the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Benue South had challenged the decision of the National and State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal, which upheld the victory of Senator Mark of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
