It was all smiles last night, at the presidential dinner held in Aso Rock, Abuja, the embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki, who is still facing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, met with Bola Tinubu.

The duo posed for friendly photographs which hinted at the possibility of putting their differences aside months after Saraki’s surprising rise to become the Senate leader, disrupting the plan the APC had allegedly put in place.

The APC leade Asiwaju had earlier sworn not to recognise the Senate President, describing his emergence as a ‘kangaroo arrangement’.

From the photos which were uploaded on Instagram by Ovation magazine publisher Dele Momodu, some of the political elites present at the occasion include President Muhammadu Buhari, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and many APC leaders.

“At last Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki got talking,” Momodu captioned one of the photos which he tagged ‘Breaking News’, and in another, he added that they “appeared happy together.”
