Abraham Kiptum wins at Lagos Marathon again

Abraham Kiptum from Kenya has once again won the 42.1km Lagos Marathon, the second time in 2 years.

Abraham Kiptum completed the race in a time of 2:15:20.

Rodah Tanuyi of Kenya was the first woman to cross the finish line.

Nigeria’s Hannah Babalola also became a two-time winner as she won the Women’s Wheelchair category.

The event had about 100,000 athletes from 27 countries, including Nigeria with the race starting at the National Stadium at Surulere and terminating at Eko Atlantic City on Victoria Island, Lagos.
