Explosion Rocks Police Headquarters in Adamawa

The Police Divisional Police Headquarters,Jimeta in Yola, Adamawa State has been rocked by a powerful explosion.

According to reports by the Premium Times, the explosion, which occurred at about 11:44 am on Thursday, is suspected to be from a bomb.

A witness, Ibrahim Bello, a resident of the area, was quoted to have said that the “blast is so powerful that all the glass windows and doors in our entire neighborhood have been destroyed.”

The Central Primary School, directly opposite the police station, where pupils were attending classes at the time of the explosion, is said to be in disarray as a result of the blast.
