Adele’s Hello Video Hits Over 1 Billion

Adele keeps shattering whatever record is there to be shattered as she has made it obvious she is no stranger to shattering and setting records after records.

Lead single off her 25 album, fan favourite Hello video has reached over one billion views in a record time of 84 days since its release and has over 500k comments to its credit!

Adele’s Hello overtook South Korean pop star Psy’ Gangam Style which held the record of reaching a billion views in 158 days before.

The video sharing platform, Youtube made this announcement on Thursday on its blog.

Only PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and Justin Bieber’s “Baby” have reached 1 billion views. “Baby” however, took over four years to get there.

Only 17 videos have thus far, reached 1 billion
