First Case of Lassa fever has been reported in Lagos

A case of ravaging hemorrhagic disease, University Teaching hospital (LASUTH), Idi Araba.
Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, confirmed on Friday that the case involves a 25-year-old student of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He affirmed that the patient in question was responding to treatment. Lassa fever in Lagos extends the presence of the disease to 11 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
