John Boyega, Fetty Wap and More in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Class of 2016

Forbes has finally released its official 30 Under 30 list, and hip-hop is slowly gaining deep roots.

MUsic category all-star A$AP Rocky, who is being heralded as “hip-hop’s new fashion mogul, A$AP Rocky lands on the cover of the coveted issue is 2015 alum. For this year’s roundup, the Music category acknowledges a slew of heavy hitters in 2015, such as Fetty Wap, The Weeknd and Metro Boomin.

From the multi-platinum power of “Trap Queen” and “I Can’t Feel My Face,” to the man behind Future’s codeine craziness, power moves were also made by TDE. The president of Kendrick Lamar’s camp, Dave Free, makes an appearance on “30 Under 30,” along with the label’s go-to DJ and engineer, MixedByAli, and SchoolBoy Q. Producer Bo1-da, Grammy-nominated R&B newbie Kehlani, and Forbes “Hip-Hop Cash Princes” Rae Sremmurd also make the list.

A few noteworthy Hollywood faces who made the Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list includes Straight Outta Compton stars Corey Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson and Jason Mitchell. Empire star Bryshere Gray, Dope star Shameik Moore while Star Wars: The Force Awakens lead John Boyega and Zendaya were also given props on the list.

Top sports honors this year went to NBA stars Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook and Damian Lillard, as well as NFL standouts Cam Newton and Russell Wilson.
