#Breaking Federal High Court Sets Nnamdi Kanu Free

kanucourt2-300x200Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the The Federal High Court, Abuja has today, Thursday ruled that the Department of States Services (DSS) continued detention of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, is unlawful.

The Justice therefore ordered the DSS to set Nnamdi Kanu free with immediate release.

Nnamd Kanu has been held by the DSS for over 90 days even though he got a court order for his bail in October.

The DSS however, obtained a federal high court order to continue keeping him behind bars.

Kanu is being held by the DSS on charges bordering on terrorism, and take over.
