4 policemen in Turkey were killed and at least 20 people were wounded in a car bomb attack on Thursday in Diyabakir, a predominantly Kurdish city in Southeastern Turkey.
According to officials, the bomb attack targeted a minibus carrying members of the police special forces.
Diyarbakir is infamous for violent attacks between the security forces and the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu was due to make a rare visit to Diyarbakir on Friday.
Hundreds of security force members, rebels and civilians have been killed since the PKK resumed its more than three-decade insurgency after a fragile truce collapsed last summer.
