in commonAmerican singer Alicia Keys has dropped her first full length song since her 2012 song ‘Girl on Fire’.

According to Pitchfork, the singer and wife to producer Swizz Beatz, had been teasing fans with the new song on her snapchat. Now, ‘In Common‘ is finally here.

According to Rap Up, the mother of two, who will join “The Voice” as a coach this fall, switches up her sound this time around, teaming with Canadian producer Illangelo, who is responsible for hits like The Weeknd’s “The Hills” and Drake’s “Crew Love.”

Keys sets the sexy mood on the late-night burner, which finds her singing about an undeniable love. “We got way too much in common since I’m being honest with you,” she sings over the Latin-flavored rhythm. “Who wants to love somebody like me? / You wanna love somebody like me? / If you could love somebody like me, you must be messed up too.”

She will perform her new single for the first time on “SNL” this weekend. Her sixth album, due later this summer, is a reflection of her “roots in NYC and hip-hop culture” and “who she is today as an activist, woman, and artist.”
