emVictor Emenayo, a Nigerian striker based in  Azerbaijan is currently the butt of jokes in the  media  of the former Soviet republic country following his move to the county’s top division side Shahdagh Qusar FK.

According to Emenayo’s international passport, his age is put at 23 as he claims to have been born in 1993. However, a quick search on the internet about the striker who’s had a long playing career in Uganda, reveals his official age as 28, before his move to current side Shahdagh Qusar.

Vanguard reports that the discrepancies have caused national amusement and ridicule with the country’s social media claiming that despite the five years he’s taken off his official age, the striker indeed looks well above 40 years old.

Some sections of the media even went further to claim the former SC Villa of Uganda striker, who has already made his debut for his new side, is older in appearance than the coach of the team Adil Mahmudov.

Neither Victor Emenayo nor his club Shahdagh Qusar FK have responded to the allegations.
