Nigerian Striker Ini-Abasi Umotong Graduates with First Class from UK University

Ini-Abasi UmotongIni-Abasi Umotong, a Super Falcons striker has announced that she will be graduating with a First Class Honors degree in Economics from the University of Southampton.

Ini-Abasi Umotong in a post on her Facebook page wrote: “Delighted to be graduating with a First Class Honours in Economics with a First Class Dissertation!”

The Oxford United star had a phenomenal season for Portsmouth in 2014/15 season that opened the path for her international career, after her goal scoring exploits led the FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division side to win their seventh successive Hampshire County Cup, and the league title.

Umotong emerged top goal scorer for Pompey, scoring 29 goals in 25 league and cup matches, she left Portsmouth for Oxford United In February 2016.
