List of 26-Man Super Eagles Players for Next Month’s Friendlies
Nigeria’s Senior National team, the Super Eagles new coaching crew has released a list of 26 players to prosecute the coming international friendly games against Mali and Luxembourg.
Interim super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf has recalled Afcon 2013 star Brown Ideye, while the forgotten William Troost-Ekong also made a return to the side.
Chan 2016 goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa also made the squad of 26 players as he has been selected from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) by coach Yusuf.
As usual, the very familiar names John Obi Mikel, Ahmed Musa, Ogenyi Onazi and Odion Ighalo have returned to pick up from the 2017 Afcon qualification fail, with the impressive Leon Balogun and teenage stars Oghenekaro Etebo and Alex Iwobi also included.
Nigeria will take on Mali in Rouen, France, on May 27 before facing Luxembourg five days later.
