Again, Fulani Herdsmen Attack Enugu Village, Many feared Dead

Fresh reports say the dreaded Fulani herdsmen have attacked Natives of Ukpabi, Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State leaving the natives to flee to neighboring communities of Nkpologu and Uvuru.

The brutal attack by suspected Fulani Herdsmen has left scores dead.

The herdsmen reportedly invaded the communities in the early hours of Monday, April 25 with the intent to kill and destroy properties.

Police Public Relations Officer,Ebere Amaraizu confirmed the rampage to Vanguard Newspaper via telephone.

He revealed that security operatives from the Police and Nigerian Army have been dispatched to the troubled area.

The people of Nkpologu, the community where the Ukpabi, Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani people fled to for safety have reportedly also fled to Nsukka for fear of the attacks spreading to them.
